Stainless steel and acid resistant steel - Duplex

Grade 1.4362
Description

Ferritic-austenitic, non-corroding steel, alternative material to 1.4571 and 1.4404, with low nickel and molybdenum content and significantly higher proportion of chromium

Applications

Is used in the construction industry, the chemical industry, the petroleum industry, in electronic equipment, in mechanical engineering and in shipbuilding etc., due to its relatively low nickel content compared to conventional austenite economically very attractive
