Higher strength – lower carbon footprint
SIMAXX 1000 enables a significant reduction in the mass of components and related emissions, and the design of higher, stronger and more sustainable structural elements. Its superior strength makes metal structures lighter and more cost-efficient while extending product lifespan. In this way, we can significantly reduce fuel consumption and related CO₂ emissions.
Combining excellent strength with high toughness
SIMAXX 1000 can withstand plastic deformation at high loads without breaking the material while maintaining good weldability. It is exceptionally tough and ensures excellent mechanical properties at temperatures as low as –40 °C (Q, QL).
Workshop properties
SIMAXX 1000 has good bendability and can be welded using all arc welding processes. The thinner plates require less welding, resulting in lower production costs.

SIMAXX 1000 is made by SIJ Acroni.
